Esit electronic started in 1980 as an engineering company. Esit entered the market by manufacturing various electronic devices for different industries. Over time, Esit focused more and more on scales and products and finally started building scales under the name of Esit in 1987.

Esit has always been a pioneer in the weighing industry in Turkey. in 1987 Esit built the first weighing indicator from scratch, in 1989 the first load cell, in 1991 the first automated weighing system, in 1996 the first digital load cell, in 2000 the first mobile truck scale and in 2006 the first fully automated wireless weighing system. As an industry leader in Turkey, creative engineering and the importance of research and development are highly valued at Esit.

Esit is the only company in Turkey that is able to produce first-class weighing products that are certified according to the European standards. Esit is headquartered in Turkey and has two production facilities, one in Istanbul and one in the Sakarya region. The Istanbul Alemdağ plant has an area of 32,000 m² and manufactures various products including load cells, electronic indicators, steel structure, machinery, metal casting, Alemdağ also houses the technical departments for research and development as well as the main offices and sales department.

Our plant in Sakarya Hendek has an area of 30000 m2 and is mainly used for manufacturing truck scales. Esit has a total of 360 employees in its various departments. With its wide range and size of products, Esit has quickly penetrated the European market and has become one of the leading companies in the Eastern European market as well as in the Middle East and West Asia.

Currently Esit has branches in Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia. Esit operates under the ISO 9001 quality system and is able to manufacture and label all its products with the EU certificate. Esit has the EN 45501 quality certificate and the international OIML and CE certificates for all its products.
